10th Annual Global Conference on Energy Efficiency

Honoured to have addressed the Ministerial Roundtable on Energy Efficiency during the 10th Annual Global Conference on Energy Efficiency, in Brussels.

I shared Kenya’s perspective on the urgent need for bold, coordinated action to accelerate energy efficiency at scale.

Moreover, I underscored that achieving a significant shift in energy efficiency demands a strong alignment between governments, the private sector, civil society and international partners.

In Kenya, we recognise that no single actor can deliver this transition alone. That is why we are fostering cross-sectoral collaboration, removing regulatory barriers, and scaling up incentives that empower the private sector to lead innovation in energy-smart solutions.

We remain committed to peer-learning platforms that support the harmonisation of regional standards and policies, critical in catalysing collective progress as we work to double our energy efficiency gains in line with our national development goals and global climate commitments.
