Following the Nairobi conference and COP28, we have raised our emissions reduction target to 35%, prioritizing energy efficiency and clean cooking.

We are reviewing our National Energy Policy (2025–2034) to promote reliable, inclusive and climate-resilient energy.

Through MEPS, efficient appliances, smart grid investments and decentralized renewables, we are improving access and reducing costs.

We are partnering with the private sector on last-mile electrification, PAYG solar and clean cooking technologies, while leveraging climate finance and promoting gender-inclusive access.
