Today, we hosted a Development Partners Breakfast to engage constructively on our shared journey toward advancing Kenya’s energy sector and the implementation of the Energy Compact.

Over the years, we have built a strong and long-standing partnership with our development partners, whose support has played a critical role in the development and growth of Kenya’s energy sector across the full value chain.

Key areas of partnership include policy and regulatory reforms, generation and transmission infrastructure, electricity access, off-grid and distributed energy solutions, clean cooking, institutional strengthening, and sector planning.

As we move into the next phase of sector transformation, we reaffirm the Government of Kenya’s deep appreciation to our development partners in delivering a more sustainable, inclusive, and resilient energy future for all Kenyans.
