Kandenderu last mile(Maragua constituency)

In our continued journey to empower Kenyans through the rollout of last-mile connectivity across the country, I toured Murang’a County, where the government is investing KES 1.07 billion to connect 13,079 households to the national grid.

To mark the commencement of construction of the Kanderendu Village electrification project in Maragua Constituency, I oversaw the erection of electricity poles that will connect over 150 households to the national grid.

The event was attended by Hon. Mary Wamaua (Maragua Constituency), Hon. Peter Kihungi (Kangema Constituency), Mr. Simon Gikuru, Deputy State House Controller, and Members of the County Assembly (MCAs).
