It is a new dawn for the students of Cianthia primary school and Cianthia secondary school in Mbeere North constituency as we powered the schools during the launch of the last mile project in Kanyuambora, Cianthia village.

The students will now enjoy electrified facilities in their computer classes, Internet connectivity and longer learning hours, which I believe is key to improving the school’s performance.

In total, we are commissioning 4 projects in the constituency and target to power more than 600 households.

The government will continue connecting more Kenyans to electricity to achieve 100% connectivity by 2030.
