Presided over the official launch of the Tande Cereal Board Electrification Project in Kakamega County by erecting the first pole and flagging off construction materials, marking the start of works.
Once completed, the project will bring reliable electricity to over 100 new households in Tande village, forming part of the government’s Last Mile Connectivity Programme that is targeting 30,000 households across Kakamega County.
In my remarks, I reiterated our unwavering commitment to universal access to electricity and grid stability, with such investments aimed at expanding access to affordable power and laying the foundation for socio-economic transformation.
