The Ministry of Energy and Petroleum, led by Hon. Opiyo Wandayi, today formalized its performance commitments through the signing of cascaded Ministerial Performance Contracts and the Mid-Year Performance Assessment for the current Financial Year.

Witnessed by Principal Secretary Hon. Ahmed Abdisalan,(National Government Coordination) this milestone underscores the Ministry’s dedication to strengthening public service delivery, promoting accountability, meeting set targets, and enhancing collaboration across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).

The exercise reaffirms our unwavering commitment to delivering the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda and ensuring that the energy and petroleum sector remains a key driver of sustainable national development.

In attendance were Principal Secretary Mohammed Liban (Petroleum), Board Chairs of the State Department for Energy and affiliated agencies, Board Members, as well as Chief Executive Officers and Managing Directors of the respective institutions.
