In line with the presidential directive on increasing the forest coverage by 15 billion trees, the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum undertook its monthly tree planting exercises in Narasha Forest, Koibatek forest and Londiani forest.

Together with our semi-autonomous government agencies (SAGAs), we planted 178,000 assorted seedlings. We appreciate the support from the stakeholders;Kenya forest service,local administration, and the community in the forest restoration process .

As a ministry, we have a profound commitment to supporting this noble cause in order to safeguard our renewable energy sources.
